City liaison, Finance and Audit Committee (2015–current)
City Representative, Economic Development Committee (2016–current)
Chair , Ad Hoc Internal Controls Review Committee (2014–2015)

I have a B.S. in Computer Information Systems from Bentley University. I have spent over twenty-five years in technology from consultant to Vice President. My husband Jack and I own a small business. I am Chair of a local grassroots organization that protects our community's quality of life. I am a member of the Beaumont Women's Club, an officer in Transportation Now which promotes public transportation for seniors and veterans, City liaison to the Finance and Audit Committee, on the Economic Development team, Vets Expo committee and have served on our Public Safety Committee.

I became very concerned about our City finances in 2013 and was elected Treasurer in 2014. I ran for Treasurer because I believed Beaumont was in dire financial condition, operating under loose controls and lacked transparency in all areas.  The newly elected Council in 2014 and my work as Treasurer,  have produced two years of balanced budgets, new auditors experienced in financial fraud who are establishing dependable financial statements for the citizens, accountability on internal financial controls, determination of where all of our citizen's dollars have gone and our true lack of financial solvency.  We cannot reach into the pockets of our citizens to pay for our past mistakes. I am working with others on a plan to build our solvency, diverse our tax base, continue our spending controls and hold the line on strong public safety for our community. I wish to continue this work as a Council member. The base of all of our success will be financial strength and integrity in our choices. As your Council member, I am well prepared to deliver this.

Political Beliefs

Political Philosophy

I am a fiscally conservative candidate. I believe that the business of Beaumont is the people's business. All of our electeds and staff serve at the pleasure of the citizens who are at the head of our City. We must continue to deliver to them the public safety, community services and integrity that they expect.  We must push for higher levels of transparency and accountability. We need to control taxes on our citizens who are already burdened with rising costs and poor governance choices. We are threatened with financial instability, lawsuit judgements and years of reduction on street maintenance and proper planning. We can resolve these issues without burdening our citizens financially. I pledge integrity and sound financial choices as the way to continue the change that I have been part of since 2014.
