I hold the current position as Incumbent for Moreno Valley City Councilmember, now District 1, previously District 5 due to re-districting.
I have always worked hard in several different capacities to improve the quality of life for our residents.
I am proud to say that everything I promised to do in 2014 as part of my platform, I have addressed in the last 2 years of my term but there is so much more to do. My job is not complete.
I will continue to:
Support Economic Development in our City with the intentions of attracting more healthcare and entertainment
Represent my District's needs regarding increased Public Safety, Community Cleanup and improved Code Compliance
Initiate the formation of youth programs throughout the City
Improve relationships between the School Districts and the City
Hold both the City and Box Springs Water Board accountable for the infrastructure agreements made for the area of Edgemont
Connecting services and resources through various non-profits to provide needed assistance to our residents
I HAVE done alot in 2 years but I can do so much more in 4. RE-ELECT LaDonna Jempson.

Biography
I previous ran in 2014 in the recall election of Victoria Baca. Since that time I have continued to stay active in the community by advocating for $280,00 in street repairs, Pvt Adrian Mitchell Park improvements (crosswalks, city cameras, plaque), I recently put on the EDGEmont debate and started News From The Edgemont and The Hot Seat video and radio show to hold elected officials accountable in the actions that they do while in office. My education and background as a former Operations Officer in the USAf would make me equivilent to a City Manager as airports operate like small cities. I have lived here since 1977 and I'm not going anywhere. My deeds are more powerful than others words.

My Top 3 Priorities
Redevelopment/Revitalization: Promote and facilitate investment in our community. Removing all obstacles that prevent responsible growth should be the priority of our city.
Public Safety: Crime in Moreno Valley plays a direct role in the growth of our city. A safe community is a successful community. As the funding allocation for our public safety decreases, we need to explore alternative ways to resolve the issue.
Build Community: Improve the quality of life in Edgemont and Central Sunnymead, and provide leadership and representation that will stand firm in upholding the values of our community.
