Biography

I have served on the Perris City Council since 1999, serving as Mayor Pro Tem for 5 terms. I retired as Division Director of the March of Dimes in 2012 after 15 years and raising over $10Million for the Charity. I am the Founder and Chair of the Perris Cops & Clergy, which I started in 2002.

i am the proud mother of 2 adult children, 9 grandchildren and now a great grandmother. I have been honored by the NAACP, National Congress of Black Women, National Association of Female Executives, Southern California Academic Center of Excellence on Youth Violence Prevention, UCR, Forbes Alliance, Society for the Thinking Woman, 2000 Notable American Women and the Grand Marshall of the Black History Parade.

I am most importantly a willing vessel for God and I believe communities are changed through partnerships between government, school administrators, business leaders, law enforcement and clergy.
