My Top 3 Priorities

  • Keep rates and fees low by finding and utilizing additional sources of local water. We need to relinquish dependency from the Delta in Northern California and the Colorado River. Maintain and increase transparency.
  • Work together with other local cities and agencies on creating a regional desalinization plant, take advantage of the limitless supply of water in the Pacific Ocean.
  • Work with our local Home Owners Associations, who throughout our drought imposed water restrictions have not always been accommodating for home owners who wanted to change their landscapes to drought tolerant.

Community Activities

Treasurer, State Coalition of Probation Organizations (2015–current)
Executive Board Member Vice-Chair, Probation Services Unit-OCEA (2013–current)

I have worked in law enforcement for the last 10 years, I know what it means to fight for something, and I will bring what I have learned in my profession to the Board of the Western Municipal Water District. I will fght for the working class, I will fight for small businesses, fight to keep rates and fees affordable. My family has deep ties with water in the Corona area, in the late 70's my family built the man-made wetlands behind the Prado Dam in the Prado Basin. Originally the ponds were used for recreational use, they are now used to help clean drinking water.

Water rates have repeatedly and steadily increased over the last 16 years. It's time to slow down these steady fee increases, it's time for change.
