Event Organizer, Fright Night on the Ridge (2018–current)

I am Kristen Van Natta and I would be honored to serve YOU, on our Town Council. I am a local small business owner, a Mother of two PHS Students and the wife of a Navy Veteran. I began serving my community early, as a preschool teacher/ camp counselor. I studied Business Management at the University of Florida, and after several years in the corporate world, I ventured out on my own, as an event planner/professional fundraiser. This provided me the opportunity to work with the USO, Wounded Warrior Project, Toys for Tots, K9’s for Warriors, Orange Park Senior Center, American Heart Association, Jacksonville Humane Society, PASH, Gold Nugget Museum and various foster care/youth-based programs.

My passion is for the youth in our community. I opened The Coop Boutique, which I manage with my daughters, to fill a need for local artists who needed an opportunity to showcase their work. Our plans for The Coop include creating a free youth community garden and offering free craft classes for youth and seniors.

Recently, I was selected to be the PUSD Superintendent's Parent Committee Representative for Paradise High School.

I strive to be a positive mentor and role model and will bring the same positive energy and ‘can do’ attitude to Town Hall.

Together, Let’s Make Paradise All That It’s Name Implies

Political Beliefs

Political Philosophy

Fiscally Conservative, but open-mind enough to look at all options. I am not bound by 'Party' guidelines, I serve the People and those Constituents are who my direction comes from. I'm not an Elite, 'regular' people need to be heard and I aim to be The Voice of the People. Innovation must replace stagnation and that takes somebody who will thoroughly examine the issues, get feedback from the people, and make their decision based on what is in the best interest of the townspeople.
