My Top 3 Priorities

  • Improve school safety standards-students and staff need to feel safe at school. We must enact stronger safety measures.
  • Strengthen the voice of teachers, parents, and students by building relationships and opening the lines of communication.
  • Continue to close the achievement gap and create programs to prepare our students for college and workforce.

Biography

My husband and I have lived in Temecula for 26 years. We have four adult children who are all successful graduates of TVUSD, and added a new grandson to the family who will be starting in the district in a few short years!   Over the years as a Temecula resident I have dedicated my time to volunteering in the classroom, as a substitute teacher as well as involvement with PTA, including serving as President of Temecula Valley Council PTA and CHS Education Foundation President. These roles have broadened and enriched my leadership and management skills and gave me a wide knowledge base. I currently serve on the City of Temecula Local Task Force for Health and Family Safety and the TVUSD Measure Y Committee. Also, I am the Outreach Coordinator for Million Kids, which combats human trafficking and exploitation in Riverside County.   When I am not volunteering, I am working in my husband’s dental practice as Office Manager. The work is challenging but rewarding, and I have honed by technical and organizational skills as result. All of which I plan to apply as a Trustee.   In my down time, you can find me walking around the community, sometimes with our two dogs (who are like children!), spending time with family and friends, or taking in a country concert!
