Nathan currently owns his own Professional Consulting Company.  He previously served as Deputy District Director for  California State Board of Equalization Vice Chair Diane Harkey.  Nathan also previously served as District Director to then 40th District Assemblyman Mike Morrell, now a State Senator. 

            In his first bid for elected office, Nathan was elected as Trustee for the Riverside Community College District in November 2012.  He currently serves as Secretary of the Board, Chair of the Riverside Community College District Facilities Committee and spearheads efforts to close the gap between graduation rates and college readiness. Nathan was also recently tapped to serve as a voting member on the Riverside County Committee on School District Organization.  This Committee aids in the redistricting of Riverside County At-Large K-12 School Districts to Single Member Districts in compliance with the California Voters Rights Act.

Prior to working in politics he worked in several diverse fields from minor commercial acting and opening/managing new restaurants for the Cheesecake Factory to his position as Telescope Operator for the large telescope at the Griffith Observatory.

 Nathan attended California Polytechnic University, Pomona earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science with completed coursework in Astronomy and Physics. Nathan is married to Heather, a Norco native and together they live in Corona with their three children: Max, Michelle and Alexander.  Nathan grew up in Manhattan Beach and if he has free time, you will likely find him surfing and at the beach with his family.  He and his family also enjoy camping and count Sequoia and Kings Canyon as one of their favorite places to visit.


Nathan believes that in pursuit of success in all things, there is no substitute for hard work.  His lives by the philosophy that if the ends one pursues are truly virtuous, the means by which one attains such ends must be equally virtuous. You can always succeed justly with integrity; you just might have to work longer and harder to get there the right way.

Nathan has consistently and successfully worked to increase class

offerings and fast track students to complete their education

requirements in Career Technical Education and 4 year degrees.


As Norco College Trustee Nathan is the first Boardmember elected to

represent Corona, Norco and Eastvale. He believes that government’s

priority is in protecting and empowering its citizens. We know our

issues better than Sacramento and Washington and will make better

decisions to serve our students.


Nathan believes that money needs to be spent in the classroom

and not on wasteful bureaucracy. Our job is to get resources into

students hands that they need in order to be successful in their
