Biography

Councilmember Jim Oddie has a long history of working on behalf of residents of the 18th Assembly District as an Alameda City Councilmember and former District Director for Assemblymember Rob Bonta.  Jim currently serves on the Central Committee and has twice been elected the AD18 Vice Chair.  Supporting the East Bay's values of justice, inclusion, equity, and opportunity, Jim has been a leader in providing tenant protections, increasing the local minimum wage, protecting core services, and addressing homelessness and the housing shortage.
