My Top 3 Priorities

  • Education: Students are one of our most vulnerable communities. Being a (recent!) product of public schools my entire life, I know the importance of education. I will fight for more funding to make quality education accessible to all.
  • Affordability: Millennials and Gen Z have grown up in our community, but will no longer be able to stay here. We are being priced out of our homes. This is not an issue that affects just us, but seniors as well.
  • Climate Change: For too long, our cities have been stalling the improvements to our public transit system. BART is still delayed, and the VTA has had major cuts/bus route changes. I want to make public transit free and accessible for our community.

Part-Time Faculty/Instructional Aide (APALI Mentor), Foothill-De Anza Community College District (2019–2019)
Sales Associate, UNIQLO (2018–2019)
Vice President of System Affairs, Student Senate for California Community Colleges — Elected position (2019–2019)
Key Holder, Poke Poke Fish Bar (2017–2018)

University of California, Davis Bachelor's Degree, Political Science Public Service and Asian American Studies (current)
De Anza College Associates Degree for Transfer, Political Science (2019)

Community Activities

Campaign Manager/Field Director, Alex Lee for State Assembly District 25 (2019–current)
Vice President of System Affairs, Region IV SAD, Vice Chair, Secretary, Student Senate for California Community Colleges (2018–2019)
Senator/Chair of Legislative Affairs, De Anza Associated Student Body (2018–2019)
Co President, Interact Club (2016–2017)
Co Chair, Rotary Vietnam Project (2016–2017)

I am the youngest person in our county running for the Central Committee. As a student who has grown up in AD25, I’ve come to see the ins and outs of our district and have been involved in public policy and politics since I was 13.    There is no representation of young democrats (under 25 in my book!) sitting on the committee, and I want to better represent young democrats as myself and be a voice for Gen Z democrats.
