My Top 3 Priorities

  • Provide the best possible learning environment for the children in our district.
  • Protect taxpayers by ensuring fiscal responsibility and balance budgets.
  • Improve communication between all stakeholders in our schools (Parents, Teachers, Administration).

I received my education in public schools here in Southern California.  I attended a small K-8 district and was fortunate to be a member of the second graduating class of a new high school.  I value the public education I received.  It laid the foundation for my higher education and career.

My wife Sarah and I  moved to Alpine in 2009, purchased our first home, and are raising three children in this beautiful community.  Our twin girls, Reagan and Taylor, entered kindergarten this fall and we plan for our baby Henry to follow them into the Alpine Union School District four years from now.

I have had the pleasure to serve on the Alpine Community Planning Group for almost seven years, and as Chairman for the past three.  Leaders in East County including Supervisor Dianne Jacob, State Assemblyman Brian Jones, El Cajon Mayor Bill Wells and Santee Mayor Randy Voepel have endorsed me for school board.  I have also been endorsed by the Lincoln Club of San Diego, Alpine Teachers, and Alpine Classified School Employees.

I am running for this position because I will bring energy, leadership, and new ideas to the board.  But mostly I am running because I believe our kids deserve the best possible K-12 education Alpine can offer.  Thank you for your vote.
