My Top 3 Priorities

  • Public Safety: Safe communities are productive communities. Safe communities allow children the chance to be successful.

Community Activities

Vice-President of the Board , FBI San Diego Citizens Academy Alumni Association (2016–current)

I am licensed to practice law in California and Washington D.C. and specialize in business/corporate law and state/federal compliance. I have been successful in both the corporate arena, and leading a small business in Escondido.  I speak Spanish, Farsi, French, and English and graduated from Auburn University and Thomas Jefferson School of Law.

I am Vice-President of the Board of the FBI San Diego Citizens Academy Alumni Association. We promote safe communities through community service projects and we provide a diverse community voice to the FBI.  Allow me to provide your voice to the Escondido City Council.

As a believer in helping people, I have volunteered at the Legal Aid Society, Family Justice Center, Special Olympics, Food Bank, and an orphanage in Khartoum, Sudan. I also translated for doctors and nurses providing medical care to the poor in Honduras.

I have been with my husband for 14 years and we bought our first home in beautiful Escondido. My husband was in the United States Marine Corps and fought for our country in Iraq. He now works for the Department of Justice.

Political Beliefs

Political Philosophy

I want to serve as your voice on the Escondido City Council. A voice that echoes your concerns. A voice that cares. Like you, I want to play an active role in making my community a safer, better place to live, run a business, grow a family, and forge a future filled with unlimited promise.

I pledge to work with the community to grow businesses and keep our neighborhoods safe. Change needs to come to Escondido to highlight the extraordinary diversity, proximity to important places, and economic benefits we can provide.

I believe Escondido is a hidden gem, because we are centrally located to many big industry areas and yet still affordable.  Because of our affordability it opens up opportunity for business growth and to sustain our open spaces.   I am a strong leader with what I believe to be connections in important communities to foster great ideas and developments for the city.

My goal is to fight crime, create jobs, improve neighborhoods, and connect with my constituents.  Investing in our infrastructure, businesses, libraries, and parks is essential.  It would be an honor to serve you.
