My Top 3 Priorities

  • Keep our families safe: Improve public safety in our neighborhoods.
  • Support our small business community: Grow our local economy and provide more jobs to residents.
  • Stop raising taxes which hurts national city families and local businesses.

I'm proud to call National City my home. After serving in the military, I moved here with my family in 1984 to find opportunity and a safe place to raise my family. What I found in National City was a place we could call home. At that time, I was a single mother and started my career working on the Mile of Cars as a saleswoman to provide for my children. I eventually worked my way up and ran my own used car dealership here in town. I met and married my husband Roy, right here in National City.

With hard work and dedication, National City has provided me the opportunities to improve our family’s quality of life. I own a small business and founded a local non-profit organization which aims to help at-risk youth at Sweetwater High School. Now I want to use that work ethic and dedication to give back. I promise to make National City a place our children can stay and raise their families.

My top priorities are improving public safety in our neighborhoods, supporting our small business community to help grow our local economy, expand opportunities for our youth and work to find solutions to fix the homelessness crisis affecting our community.

With your support, there's a lot we can accomplish together for all families.
