  • Community: Preserve our city’s character through smart growth strategies; listen to local businesses, stakeholders, & residents; prioritize public safety by collaborating with firefighters & police; promote Carlsbad’s art, music, & history
  • Health: Promote transit-oriented, walkable, bicycle-friendly land use; protect our beaches, lagoons, & wildlife; work towards fulfilling the promises of our Climate Action Plan; collaborate with neighboring cities to alleviate traffic congestion
  • Transparency: Schedule regular town halls; advocate for local control to protect Carlsbad’s quality of life; keep residents informed on decisions & upcoming issues; follow the California Brown Act to ensure Council Members discuss matters in public
